Graffiti has been discovered on and around the downtown Indianola square near the Square Reconstruction Project construction areas. The initial graffiti was found prior to the start of the project, however more has been discovered in different areas around the square since the project began. The Indianola Police Department has been notified and is working on identifying the individuals responsible, and if anyone finds graffiti and has questions about how to remove it, contact the City of Indianola. It is recommended to initiate immediate removal of graffiti if it is found, and to report any other damage to the Indianola Police Department.
