The Pella Opera House will host its first show intended for children since the pandemic this week.
Director Cyndi Atkins says the String Beans are part of the Pella Opera House’s Youth Entertainment Series (Y.E.S.) sponsored by Vermeer and Precision, Inc., and a show will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
From pop and country to rap and rock n’ roll, Atkins says the group will perform a wide variety of original, family-friendly songs about the things kids love: animals, cartoons, food, science, sports and more.
Doors open at 10 am, and seating is general admission. A program will be held after the show called Mac and Craft, a lunch and craft time for kids. Tickets are required for children and adults for the Mac and Craft portion, at $15 per child, $5 for accompanying adults. Tickets for Mac & Craft can be found at https://bit.ly/StringBeans
