An active summer of severe weather may return late Wednesday into early Thursday across the State of Iowa. The National Weather Service has issued a slight risk of severe weather across the majority of Iowa during that time, with large hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes all possible. Additional rounds of heavy rain will be in line for those who are in the path of thunderstorms that may develop, with some locations potentially receiving 1-2 inches by Thursday evening.
