An active summer of severe weather may return late tonight into early Thursday. The National Weather Service has issued a slight risk of severe weather across areas north of Highway 92 in the state, with an enhanced risk over the northern half of Iowa, with large hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes all possible. Additional rounds of heavy rain will be in line for those who are in the path of thunderstorms that may develop, with some locations potentially receiving 1-2 inches by Thursday evening.
