The Norwalk baseball team was stunned at Urbandale Tuesday evening in its regular season finale, falling 16-0 in four innings. The J-Hawks opened the game with two runs in the bottom of the first, but the second inning was where it got out of hand. Urbandale pushed across 13 runs in the second, and added another in the third to complete the scoring. Norwalk surrendered 11 base hits while only picking up one of their own, which was by Casey Greenlee. Cael Eck was the losing pitcher, giving up four hits, six runs and issuing four walks with two strikeouts in 1.1 innings of work. Norwalk ends the regular season with a 28-6 record. They’ll host Council Bluffs Jefferson Friday in the first round of Class 4A substate play.
