The Pella Police Department is partnering with Triumph Martial Arts as part of Kids Safety Day this weekend.

An event will be held at Triumph this Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon, and Owner Chris White says sessions are available for children to learn key basics to protecting themselves.

Among those in attendance will be officers from the Pella Police Department and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit. The event is free to attend, but freewill donations will be accepted to help bring a K-9 to the Pella PD.
