The Knoxville School District set goals for the upcoming school year at Monday’s school board meeting, and will carry some over from last school year. Superintendent Cassi Pearson says they will focus on specific educational areas, as well as learning in an unusual environment with the construction projects.

“That includes student achievement in literacy and math, college readiness, and project management in our learning environments. We have our building project, and with our facilities task force, we are looking at our next phase, which includes Northstar Elementary.”
