Pella Christian had their work cut out for them entering postseason play having to win four games for a potential state tournament run. With two wins now under their belts, the Eagles are set to take on Centerville tonight for the District 13 championship and a chance to reach the Class 2A Substate 7 championship.
The Eagles have won their last three and will look to carry their momentum from their come-from-behind upset victory over Interstate 35 on Tuesday as they look to take down the top team in the district in Centerville. The Reds come into the contest winners of their last two, with their most recent victory coming easily over Albia 11-3 in the District quarterfinals. Head Coach Braden Shull knows that his squad faces a tough task tonight against the district’s top seed.
Tonight’s contest between the Eagles and the Reds begins at 7 and can be heard live on 92.1 KRLS beginning with pregame coverage at 6:45.
