The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Lake Red Rock recently added new life jacket loaner stations. Additional life jackets are available to borrow at the South Overlook ramp, Marina Cove (rigging area) and Howell Station Landing. Park Ranger Tracy Spry says there’s no charge to borrow the jackets and no paperwork to fill out. Instructions on finding the proper fit for a life jacket are included on the loaner stations. Sizes available include Infant, Child, Youth and Adult.
Loaner stations are also available at the Whitebreast boat ramp, Whitebreast Beach and North Overlook Beach.
