The Knoxville Public Library has received an Early Childhood Literacy grant from JMP Early Childhood Iowa. The funds will be used to host a Book Bash specifically aimed towards families with children up to 5 years old. Families with older siblings are also welcome.

The Book Bash will be held at the library on Saturday, July 31st from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Several stations will be set up to feature music, stories, craft activities that build sound and language recognition, small and large motor skills, and social skills. Every child will receive a free book to take home. Snacks will be provided.

All library programs are free and open to everyone.
