A top-ten finisher in the Class 3A boys golf state meet this past season is spending the summer ahead of his senior campaign in tournaments around the country.

Will Simpson finished tied for 2nd in the American Junior Golf Association event that concluded recently in St Louis. The AJGA is the top Junior tour in the country, according to Pella Head Coach Bob Fessler. His t-2nd place finish gave Simpson an exemption into future AJGA tournaments. Will finished 3rd earlier this spring in his AJGA debut in Wisconsin.

Simpson also finished T-17th in the MIDWEST Junior Am in Nebraska on July 12th and 13th. Will was a Class 3A All-State and All-Tournament Selection for Pella High School in 2021.
