Multiple local high school softball players earned All-District team selections from the Iowa Girls Coaches Association. Destiny Lewis and Kate Kralik from Indianola were selected to the Class 5A West All-District team. Norwalk placed Haley Downe, Jayden Lammers, and Jaylynn Brandt on the Class 4A Southeast All-District team. In Class 3A, Knoxville’s Ashlyn Finarty and PCM’s Riley Johannes were selected to their respective All-District teams. Pella Christian’s Natalie Harrill and Emri Agre and Pleasantville’s Amber McKinney and Josie Sowers were selected for their respective All-District teams in Class 2A. Melcher-Dallas and Twin Cedars occupied six selections on the Class 1A South Central All-District team, with the Saints having Kynser Reed, Riley Enfield, and BrieAnna Remster selected. The Sabers selected were Grace Bailey, Rylee Dunkin, and Ali Mockenhaupt. Additionally, Twin Cedars Head Softball Coach Zack Dunkin was named District Coach of the Year.
