The Indianola City Council met in regular and a special study session Monday evening, where Mayor Pam Pepper read a proclamation declaring July Independent Retailer Month. The council approved nominations to the Hometown Pride Committee and the Board of Adjustment, sign code exemptions, and a sewer credit for Agriland FS before going into closed session to discuss legal strategy and to discuss employee evaluations. The council also held a study session regarding the re-establishment of the Human Relations Commission.
