The Mustangs baseball team had a big senior class this season with eight members now moving on from the program. To fill their shoes, PCM will return just two seniors for the 2021-22 season. Durant Van Dyke and Cade Lindsay will be tasked with trying to help replace a graduating class that produced the top four bats in the lineup and the top two arms on the pitching staff. Van Dyke had the third lowest ERA among starting pitchers for the Mustangs this season and played first base every game he didn’t pitch. Lindsay played both second base and left field for PCM this year and was tied for second on the team in doubles. Replacing the seniors will be no easy task for Head Coach Jeff Lindsay. The loss of so many contributors to PCM’s success is difficult, but with many underclassmen ready to step up, the two seniors will be looked upon to lead the Mustangs to their goals in the 2021-22 season.
