The Knoxville Chamber of Commerce is asking for residents who are interested in hosting race fans in their houses, campers, or other properties to register for the Nationals Housing Program. Chamber Director Emma Skahill says the need continues to grow due to limited hotel availability and the number of expected visitors.
“Hotels are all booked out, and we still have lots of race fans who need a place to stay. We are asking Knoxville area residents who have a room, basement, an entire home, or space in their yard where people could camp to let us know. There are lots of people still looking, and it’s getting down to the wire. It’s also a good chance to get to know some of the people coming into our community and interact with them in that way.”
Those looking to list their property should create an account, add their details, and email photos to the Knoxville Chamber. Learn more about this program here.
