Today is Indianola Parks and Rec Day at the fairgrounds, bringing a range of activities for day two of the 2021 Warren County Fair. Kathy Kester with Indianola Parks and Rec tells KNIA News activities combine a range of contests including rooster crowing, a milk mustache contest, frozen t-shirts, and judging crazy hairstyles including pigtails, pony tails, braids, mullets, and mohawks and much more.
Today’s entertainment includes comic magician Jerry Frasier, the 4H fashion show, dance factory, swine racing, and the Warren County Farm Bureau Little Farmhands Exhibit. Tonight’s evening entertainment includes live music from Red Dirt Renegade and the grandstand event of a demolition derby both beginning at 7pm.
The KNIA Big Red Radio will be on the fairgrounds for the duration of the fair, providing updates on fair activities and entertainment throughout the day on 94.3 KNIA.
