Agriculture was celebrated at the final Thursdays in Pella of the summer. Ag in the City highlighted the industry with various activities, educational displays, farm equipment, businesses, antique tractors, and food vendors, sponsored by Marion County Farm Bureau. Featured entertainment included trick roping, the Ag Hall of Fame, and a Chicken Pageant. The Marion County Cattlemen’s Association and the Pella FFA Alumni served their beef and pork specialties respectively as well south of the Tulip Toren.
