Pella completed a march to the top of the football district again in dominating fashion 35-7 over Nevada on October 9th.

Everything that could go wrong for Nevada did, and Pella High capitalized with several big plays, including Aiden Pollock stiff-arming his way to a 68-yard punt return touchdown early in the second quarter, and Kody Huisman blocking a punt and scooping it up for a long touchdown return of his own later in the frame.

Pella finished the regular season at 5-2 and as the undisputed, undefeated district champion at 5-0. The Little Dutch earned a first round bye in the expanded playoffs and defeated Winterset 21-7, earning the school’s 14th consecutive state postseason appearance.
