Pella Christian’s Natalie Harrill enters her senior year on Eagle Lane as a Class 2A 1st Team All-State Softball selection and a state qualifier.

What made her junior season unique was not only her explosive bat, but her connections to her mother and Pella Christian Head Coach Karen. The 2021 Eagles were a state tournament qualifier for the first time since 1990, when Karen was a catcher for the team, who also earned All-State recognition.

Natalie was one of the top run producers in the state in 2021, with her 56 RBI finishing as 15th most among all classes and 4th most in Class 2A, a feat made more impressive by P.C.’s Class 4A/5A heavy schedule in the Little Hawkeye Conference. Karen believes another year in the PC Performance weight room and further sharpening of skills in the batter’s box could make Natalie even more dangerous in 2022.

Natalie finished with a .483 batting average with 20 extra base hits, and leads a strong core of returning Eagles seeking back-to-back state tournament appearances next summer, which includes two-time All-State selection Emri Agre, who was a 2nd team Class 2A honoree this summer.
