The search for a new Activities Director and Girls Basketball Coach is underway at Twin Cedars following the departure of Trent Verwers. Verwers served as Girls Basketball Coach for three years. On the hardwood, Verwers amassed a record of 22-46. He was the AD and Cross Country coach for two years. Verwers also added Boys Track Coach, Junior High Baseball and Softball Coach, and Assistant Football coach for a season to his resume. 

Verwers said, “Twin Cedars will be ingrained in my heart for the rest of my life. I tried my very best to give back to the place that gave me my first full time job out of college. The great relationships and bonds I built with students, staff, community, and administration made this move very difficult. I considered Twin Cedars as family. The willingness of our student athletes to do their very best on the playing field/court, as well as in the classroom, always had me excited to go to work every single day.”
