The City of Indianola is holding a public meeting regarding the implementation of the Rental Inspection Program on Thursday. Community and Economic Development Director Charlie Dissell tells KNIA News the city is looking for comments from renters and property owners.

“We’re going to look for feedback at a pair of meetings, for owners about what to expect during an inspection process and what things should we be looking at in inspections. Then from a tenant standpoint what are some of the frequent things you see as a tenant with issues with rental properties, then we have some other information we have as far as resources that will be available for both.”

The meeting will be held on August 5th at 6pm at the Indianola Activity Center for renters and tenants to attend, while another will take place on August 12th for property owners and managers. For more information on the program, click below.
