The City of Knoxville will host a leadership academy this fall. This is an opportunity for residents to learn more about their local government, encouraging individuals to be more informed and inspired to effectively become more involved in the community. The following topics will be covered:

Tuesday, September 14th – Administration & Planning and Zoning
Tuesday, September 21th – Public Safety
Tuesday, September 28 – Public Works
Tuesday, October 5 – Parks & Recreation
Tuesday, October 12 – Library & Airport
Monday, October 18 – City Clerk & Council Meeting

The sessions run from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. each evening. Applications are required, and can be found on the city website or at City Hall. The application deadline is September 8th.
