Tonight is Townie and Pilot Appreciation Night at the 2021 National Balloon Classic, featuring a balloon flight beginning at 6:30pm, the balloon shape inflation beginning at 7, and Jim Stockberger playing music on the main stage. The gates to the balloon field open at 4pm, providing access to the various food vendors and entertainment venues.
To enter the National Balloon Classic Field, tickets must be purchased in advance and there will be no sales at the gate. Tickets can be purchased either at the Indianola Hy-Vee Customer Service Station, or purchased online and printed, no tickets will be scanned from a mobile device.
