


The Knoxville Police Department, Iowa State Patrol, and the Mid-Iowa Narcotics Task Force carried out a search warrant in the 800 block of Rock Island Street in Knoxville Wednesday morning. Knoxville Police Chief Aaron Fuller tells KNIA/KRLS News two people were arrested, one of whom had active warrants in Wapello County. Illegal narcotics were located during the search.
35-year-old Matthew E. Cook faces charges of possession of controlled substances with intent to deliver, a Class C felony; and child endangerment with meth exposure, a Class D felony.
33-year-old Megan R. Bix is charged with possession of a controlled substance third or subsequent offense, a Class D felony; and child endangerment with meth exposure, a Class D felony. Both Bix and Cook also face misdemeanor charges.
Both were taken to the Marion County Jail, where they await court appearances.
