After a season of conference championships, postseason runs, and records being broken, the Indianola Activities Department is happy with how the 2020-21 seasons went for the school, but more importantly they are happy with the way the coaches and athletes handled themselves during the pandemic. Activities Director Lee Nelson says staff and students did what they had to do and everything worked out.

“Everyone just bought in and did what they had to do to make it the best experience possible for our kids. When you think about success from an educational landscape, that’s it right there, that’s what we want. If those other things happen, great. That’s what we want to strive for, but I think those are a by-product of doing all things the right way, which I’m really confident that we do.”

Nelson also said he and school staff are excited to get back to competing beginning this fall.
