The 410 Knoxville Nationals begin Wednesday, with the schedule of events ramping up today. The Knoxville Racing Charitable Organization Bus Ride Bar Crawl departs at 4:00. The Nationals Queen Contest begins at 7:00 p.m. at Dyer Hudson Hall. The night ends with the “Welcome to NOSville” Kick-Off party at Dingus Lounge.

Additionally, the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce is still in need of volunteers to help park vehicles at Young’s Park. Director Emma Skahill says this is an easy way to get involved in a much-needed way.

“We’re out there Wednesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:30 each night. This is our largest fundraiser of the year and is an easy volunteer opportunity. You’ll take money as the cars come in, or help them find their reserved spot. It’s a great way to get your feet wet in volunteering and help during Knoxville’s busiest time of the year.”
