With the addition of a seventh class to Iowa High School football this summer, the largest schools will be in their own class, known as Class 5A. Norwalk Athletics & Activities Director Al Lammers says this provides a better competitive balance for schools such as Norwalk, who may have otherwise been in a class with the CIML powers.

The change puts Norwalk in Class 4A, meaning they’ll face similar schools as they have in the past. The Warriors open the season August 27th at home against Pella.
