Regulations for COVID-19 presented a new challenge for athletic programs in 2020-2021, but things are expected to return back to some form of normalcy this year.
Pella Christian Activities Director Dan Branderhorst is thankful some of the restrictions that last year presented are now gone.
“It’s just great to be beyond that. I’m thankful we had all those activities. We still had a lot of meaningful things for our kids, and that’s why sports are great because our kids have these opportunities to have fun, to compete, and to enjoy fellowship with each other. But I’m thankful to be beyond that and have lots of fans back on Eagle Lane.”
The return of fall sports at Pella Christian will be August 26th when the cross country team has their first meet at Gilbert.
