Going into night three of the 60th Running of the Nos Energy Drink Knoxville Nationals, Rico Abreu has not finished outside the top five at any time this season he has raced at Knoxville. That streak continued on Friday as he won the Hard Knox Night and locked himself into the 21st starting position of tonight’s 50 lap finale. Abreu was never really pressured through the race once he got by pole sitter Jac Haudenschild on lap nine of the 25 lap race. Anthony Macri was 2nd while Shane Stewart was 3rd and Brock Zearfoss claimed fourth place. Those three also advance to tonight’s final race and will start 22nd-24th.
