Cases of COVID-19 are on the rise again in Warren County, with 65 new positive tests over the last week, more than double the total from one week ago, and an 11% test positivity rate. Fifty-eight percent of the new positive cases come from those aged 39 and under.
According to the New York Times Coronavirus Database, 48% of Warren County adults are fully vaccinated, and the current risk level for unvaccinated adults has been reclassified from high to very high. Iowa as a state is 50% vaccinated.
The area reached a peak of 1,300 active cases in November of 2020, and has had 92 deaths total from the virus. COVID-19 vaccinations are available every Tuesday at Warren County Health Services from 8:30am to 4pm. For more information, click below.
