Pella Christian Schools enter the new academic year with a completely new administrative team. Harlan De Vries is serving as the interim Head of School, overseeing the work of Principals Kevin Herdegen at Pella Chrisitan High School and Ben Dirksen at Pella Christian Grade School. De Vries says his role is to provide leadership as the two schools search for a long-term head of schools. De Vries has over 45 years of Christian education leadership experience including roles in Hanford, California; Edgerton, Minnesota; Sioux Center, Hull, Orange City and Sully, Iowa. De Vries’ position is a partnership with the Center for the Advancement of Christian Education (CACE). Pella Christian Grade School and High School begin classes on August 23rd, with new student orientation at the high school that day and all students returning on the 24th.
