Indianola Parks and Rec is celebrating the history of baseball in Iowa as part of their next Afternoon Adventures Speaker Series. Htorian John Liepa is presenting a program titled “How Iowa Met Baseball” and showing his extensive collection of memorabilia and cards, and with the recent Field of Dreams Game the excitement for the program is growing. The program is free and open to the public, and is sponsored by Community 1st Credit Union, on Tuesday, August 17th at 1pm.
