Applications to be a page for the upcoming legislative session are currently open, with the session beginning on January 10th. State Senator Julian Garrett said Senate pages can be assigned to chamber benches for general assignments, the Sergeant-At-Arms desk, the telephone switchboard, or to assist the Senate President or Secretary of the Senate. Pages also assist Senators and staff in committee meetings, and respond to requests from Senators at the chamber desks.

Pages are permitted to participate in as many school functions as possible. Pages go to work at 7am and usually work until 4:30pm, usually 4 days a week. They are paid for 40 hours per week, and must be at least 16 years old.
