The Indianola boys golf team placed third as a team at the Jesse Peck Invitational to begin their season Monday afternoon. Preston Bily and Jackson Overton each medaled in the meet, with both golfers shooting a 77. The Indians matched up with county rival Norwalk, along with the host Jaguars, Des Moines Lincoln, Ottumwa, Southeast Polk, and Urbandale. The Indians will next golf Thursday at the Cedars Rapids Country Club in a meet hosted by Cedar Rapids Washington.
