With the Cross Country Season on the horizon, Pleasantville will rely on Senior leadership to carry them through the 2021 season.

With their first meet less than a week away, the Trojans will be relying on three key upperclassmen to lead the way. On the boys’ side, it will be senior Devon Luing, who will lead a relatively young squad. For the girls, it will be junior Ashlyn McConnell and senior Riley Thill. These three players will look to be an extension of Head Coach Aaron Fichter, who emphasizes the importance of senior leadership on this team.

Fichter also states that he looks for underclassmen to take a huge step forward with the season on the horizon. Pleasantville opens the cross country season Monday at Pine Knolls Golf Course in Knoxville.
