As the Eagles prepare to begin the 2021 volleyball season, they will be doing so with a new face leading on the sidelines this season. Tammi Wight is entering her first year as head coach of the program.

Helping Wight’s transition into the leadership role is a good mix of returning members and incoming talent to the varsity squad. One newcomer has already made an impact in practices and has Wight excited for the potential of Eagles’ volleyball.

Wight:

“You will watch for the name Chloe Huisman for the next four years, because she’s going to be a stud. She’s already taking control. She’s one of the most competitive kids I’ve ever coached and I’m really excited to see where we go in the next four year with her as the head of our team.”

Wight’s first game as the head coach at Pella Christian will be on August 28th when the Eagles take part in a tournament at Bondurant-Farrar High School.
