If you ask Melcher-Dallas Football Coach Pat Ferguson what he is looking forward to most this season, he will tell you a more normal type of the season. He tells KNIA Sports last year due to COVID-19 restrictions, his team did not get to do a lot of off field functions like the weekly Thursday meal or much team bonding. Ferguson says getting to do more of those activities will hopefully bring his team together.

Ferguson says the interaction with community members gives his team a chance to be visible while still concentrating on the game and what they need to do on Friday nights. The Saints week one opponent will be Mormon Trail at home.
