The Pella Community School District is garnering community support for facilities upgrades that will go on the November 2nd ballot.

Rich Schulte is leading a committee of community members to gather signatures of eligible voters living in the district’s borders, and says the $40 million package would address several “pinch points” on campus as they expect significant growth in the next decade. The tax rate for residents would not change if the measure passes.

A community meeting detailing the proposed ballot measure and facility upgrades will be held today at 5:30 p.m. at the Pella High School Auditorium, which can also be viewed online at the Pella Dutch Live YouTube channel.
