A warrant has been served on a Williamson man who allegedly committed multiple felonies in Knoxville earlier this month. On the morning of August 5th, Knoxville officers responded to the report of a burglary in the 200 block of West Madison Street. The suspect was identified by surveillance video and by witnesses as 26-year-old Bryce Ludwig. A shotgun and ammo were discovered to be taken from the vehicle and stashed in nearby bushes.
On both August 6th and 7th, Knoxville officers were dispatched to a residence in the 700 block of South 3rd Street, the home of the protected party in a no contact order with Ludwig. Security footage showed Lugwig trespassing on three separate occasions over those two days. The windshield of the protected party’s vehicle was discovered to be shattered, which Ludwig admitted to on a social media post regarding the incident.
The warrant for Ludwig’s arrest was served Monday. He faces numerous charges, including theft 2nd degree, burglary 3rd degree, felon in possession of a firearm, two counts of trespassing, three counts of violation of a no contact order, stalking 2nd offense, and other charges. Total bond is $17,000, and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 26th.
