The Pella Community School District held a meeting Wednesday evening to showcase facility updates coming as part of a potential bond issue on November 2nd.

A presentation detailed $40 million in upgrades that address key needs in the district over the next decade.

Rich Schulte is leading a committee of community members to gather signatures of eligible voters living in the district’s borders, and says residents should consider supporting the measure on the November ballot.

If approved this fall, construction would begin in Spring 2022.
