Serving will have to be a key part of the Knoxville Volleyball Squad this season more than it has ever. That’s because the Panthers lost a lot of their strong serve game from last season. Coach Mollie Keitges tells KNIA/KRLS Sports with no dominating hitter on the front line as well, her team will have to serve smart and maybe get a little creative behind the line.
Four players who had a 93% serve percentage or better last year have gone, but Keitges adds Emma Dunkin is one of the players that will be called on to serve as she returns with a 92% efficiency. Knoxville gets the season underway on Monday at Carlisle in a quad meet.
