Current City Councilman Bob Kling has announced he is running for re-election for Indianola City Council in November. Kling has served Ward 2 since being elected in 2018, and cites accomplishments on the Indianola City Council including keeping tax rates flat while providing additional public safety officers to the city, the city’s best financial rating, and work on the wastewater treatment plant and streetscape among others.
