The Indianola School Board meets in regular session this evening, with a discussion regarding the use of the Indian logo on the agenda. The board will discuss the use of “Indians” name and logo, and no action will be taken at the meeting, with the board indicating at a previous meeting the discussion would be centered around how to best receive input from the community on the topic.
The board will also consider a year-round calendar amendment, and receive reports from the board human resources, finance, and policy committees, along with an update on facilities projects around the district. The meeting begins at 5:30pm in the district office board room at the District Administration Building.
