The Norwalk boys cross country team will have a stacked schedule this year as a member of Class 4A. Last year, the Warriors found out they’d be 4A after their schedule was set, and faced mostly 3A competition throughout the year. Despite qualifying for the 4A state meet last year, Head Coach Chad Larson says his team was not quite prepared for that level of competition, and is looking forward to a new schedule this year.

Norwalk placed 14th of 15 at last year’s state cross country meet. The season begins Tuesday at an invitational hosted by Ankeny Centennial.
