Skill positions could be an area to watch for the Knoxville Football Squad this season. Gavin Montalvo returns as the leading rusher from last year. Along with Montalvo, who rushed for 346 yards and four touchdowns, T.J. DeJong, and Mike Greubel along with quarterback Noah Keefer will get their fair share of rushing attempts. Coach Eric Kellar tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that while they lost their leading receiver to graduation, he has a few wide outs and tight ends that can step into main roles.
Among the receivers that could see time are DeJong, Braden Dudley, and Dakota Ramsey. Knoxville opens up Friday at home against Newton. Hear all of the Panthers games live on 95.3 KNIA.
