U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley made a visit to KLK Construction in Pella Tuesday as part of his 99-county tour.

The meeting was held, in part, for Grassley to hear feedback from National Federation of Independent Business owners locally about a bipartisan infrastructure bill, as well as topics such as the ongoing workforce shortage, paid leave, and taxes.

Grassley says local community leaders he heard from were in support of a bill that passed the U.S. Senate 69-30 that would add $1 trillion in spending on roads, bridges, broadband, water, and electric infrastructure.
