With a 2-0 start to the season, the Twin Cedars Volleyball Squad has been helped by a new addition to the program. Sophie Lyle, who was with the Pella High program last season. The junior leads the Sabers in kills in the first two matches and Coach Randi Gist tells KNIA/KRLS Sports Lyle is a great addition to the program.
Gist:
“Having Sophie come in was very exciting, and she knows volleyball and has put in the work. She’s put in the work in the offseason and she has fit right in with the girls and it shows.”
Lyle had nine kills in the Sabers Tuesday night win over East Union and made several key blocks to preserve points in the 4th set. Twin Cedars is off until September 7th when the Sabers host Seymour.
