Melcher-Dallas Cross Country Runner Addison Wadle will get her first high school meet in when she heads to Albia for the Saints opening meet. Wadle is the lone runner on the Saints squad this season so individual glory is what she will go for. Her coach, Amy Stuart tells KNIA Sports, Monday’s meet in Albia will let them know where she is in her training and not have any pressure to place in a certain position.

Stuart:
“We’ve set the goal for her to see where she’s at and what she needs to do. There’s no pressure to finishing in a certain position, yes she would like to medal, but we’re just looking to see what she can do in her first meet.”

The varsity race is set to get underway at around 5:30.
