A current Simpson College student was found dead Sunday night, according to an email Simpson College President Marsha Kelliher sent out to students and staff. Police were seen near the fraternities area during a welcome back party, and the college is working with local authorities to determine the cause of death and notify family, and the email from President Kelliher specified there is no threat to the campus community. Counseling is available for students.
