Work on the Indianola Downtown Square Reconstruction Project as well as the Valley Place Reconstruction Project are currently ongoing. This week on the square, concrete has been poured on the intersection of B Street and Salem Ave, with the intersection possibly open the week of labor day, and main line paving will take place on Salem Ave.

The Valley Place Reconstruction Project is replacing the failed pavement on Valley Place from N 1st St to N Jefferson Way, with the first stage beginning on the west end, with traffic through the area still allowing vehicle access to properties impacted by the construction.
